Kat Finch is a poet from the pacific northwest. She graduated from Western Washington University in 2011 with a degree in creative writing. Currently, she is a Zell Fellow at the University of Michigan’s Helen Zell Writers’ Program, where she received her MFA in poetry in 2015. She is the recipient of the Meader Family Award (poetry) in 2014 and the Chamberlain Award (fiction) in 2015. Outside of school she interns for Salt & Cedar, & is the chapbook series editor at Wolverine Press, both letterpress studios.

Her first chapbook, Birds With Teeth,  was published by Alice Blue Press.
